Best ever homemade bacon and egg breakfast roll
On the days that you don’t feel like leaving your home to get a scrumptious breakfast give this recipe a try, guaranteed to satisfy.
Serves 2
2 organic eggs
2 slices provolone
2 pieces middle bacon
4 slices hot salami
½ tomato
½ cucumber
1 slice pineapple
2 bread rolls – I chose damper rolls
Butter – to spread
Method
- Preheat grill and cook top to a medium heat. Lightly spray a non stick pan with oil place onto the cook top and allow to heat up for a minute, place bacon into pan, crack eggs directly into pan. Lightly sprinkle with pepper. Place bread under the grill allow them to cook until desired, my preference for eggs is sunny side up.
- Whilst cooking thinly slice tomato and cucumber sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Spread rolls with butter, layer ingredients, pierce a toothpick through the center of the bun, to hold this tower of pure pleasure together
- Serve immediately, guaranteed to satisfy.
